Mr. Fanatic's Twisted Sense of Humor

Last Monday the granite installers templated our countertops. They do this by gluing strips of corrugated plastic to the countertop to make a template. Then the strips are pulled off, but glue from a glue gun was left on the countertop. Who cares - the tops were going to be pulled out in a few days anyway!
When I walked in the kitchen this morning I could smell permanent marker & saw this on the countertop next to the Refrigerator!  My oldest daughter definitely has her dad's mischievous genes because a few days ago she said that she was going to draw all over the countertops before they were removed. She probably remembers many years ago that I allowed everyone to draw all over the dining room walls before we painted them. Since you have to paint several coats for red to look good it didn't matter. We all had fun doing something you weren't suppose to do!
Currently I am waiting for the guys to arrive. Here's what my kitchen looks like now. Last night around midnight I realized I had forgotten to order some corbels for support on my bar. They wouldn't have been anyway since I was ordering them & the granite was only ordered Monday. LOL- guess I just had a senior midlife moment! I can't just go down to Lowe's because they are about $30 a piece and I need 5 of them! The granite guy said I would be ok until they come in because the bar top has angles & the wall will support most of the weight.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Pam
