Winter Tablescape

A week or so ago, I polished all of my silver, so I thought that I'd set a table with it and my crystal.

The flatware is Wallace Grand Baroque, The china is Mikasa Gabriele.

The silver napkin ring was my mother in law's.

My mother in law also gave me this silver napkin ring.

The crystal is Maeve by Waterford. The table linens were a Goodwill find. I bought all the linens for $5.98. You can read about all the linens I purchased for that price HERE.

The crystal salt and pepper shakers were my grandmother's and I love them. The wine coaster was a wedding gift.

Maybe next week I'll get out some silver servers I've had in the basement and polish them so I can add to this tablescape.
I'm joining Susan over at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Head on over and see some fabulous tablescapes!

  11. Pam, this is just a splendid table. Love the Grand Baroque flatware and those beautiful heirloom napkin rings and your grandmother's salts! Just a beautiful, beautiful table.

Hope you will drop by and enter my china drawing. I forgot to mention it in the linky tonight, but I thought it would be fun for the tablescape group. The winner will get to pick a piece or pieces from their favorite pattern. Guaranteed to ward off the winter blues!

    Happy Tablescape Thursday...

    XO,

    Sheila :-)

  20. Beautiful, Pam! Isn't it fun to use all the pretty wedding gifts? Polishing silver isn't my favorite thing, but it does make for a lovely table! I think my favorite item is your mother-in-law's engraved napkin ring.

  27. Love this tablescape. It simply gleams along with the crystal. I would be willing to go ten rounds with you for those linens. They are to die for (or at least box for). You have then done up beautifully. The starched linens are so elegant.
I too love silver but hate to polish it. I know some are using it in the unpolished state. I just can't do that. I love the shine of newly polished silver. I keep large pieces in large bags as you. A friend, who owns a jewelry store, told me that you can wrap them in tissue then plastic wrap and store them in the bag. I store sterling flatware in my sideboard drawer which is lined (works well) and some in individual rolls and some in a separate (portable) chest.
Love you Grande Baroque, I have their Golden Aegean Weave.
I so hope you enjoyed a fine dinner. Hugs, Ginger
