Birdcage Inspiration

Thanks to everyone who stopped by my birdcage post and left comments. Y'all are just too nice!
Since you loved it so much, I thought I'd let you in on a big secret....
The project wasn't an original thought of mine...

I first got the idea of putting Christmas lights in my birdcage from...

+ this...(my birdcage)

= this!
I found the inspiration photos on Pinterest. Everyone knows about Pinterest, right?
Just wanted to warn you that it's really addicting, but very inspiring. Here's the link to my Pinterest.

Have fun and be inspired!

  1. The birdcages are beautiful, Pam. They're so architecturally detailed, and add compact charm and character to a home.
Maybe so many of us are attracted to birdcages because they are the acceptable adult version of a dollhouse. They strike a subconscious chord with our happy childhood memories.
Thanks for the link to Pinterest - it's new to me!

  2. This is so beautiful Pam.

Thanks so much for the inspiration. I have a set of three wooden birdcages I've been moving here and there around the house. I think you've given me an idea!
