Ruby Red Glasses

There are still a couple of weeks before Valentine's Day, but I've already set the table.

HomeGoods was on the way home a few days ago and I had to stop in to see what they had. Found the red napkins on the clearance aisle and thought they'd go perfectly with my ruby red glasses. Everything else on the table is something we already had.

The sun made an appearance today and it was nice and warm at 64 degrees. Not bad for January!

The khaki placemats are too wide to put down the regular way, but they worked perfectly turned vertically.

I shopped the house for the centerpiece.

Hope you are having a good week!

  5. Gorgeous glassware! I love how the red napkins just pop off of your white dinnerware. I am really loving the way you turned the placemats though! Although my round table is big enough for rectangular placemats, I never like the way they look. This is such a cute adjustment. Great idea!

  8. Hi Pam!
Great table! I have the same problem with placemats! My table is only 42" so it's hard to work with!
Love your red stemware and the hearts in the window! Good find on the red napins!

  11. Hi, Pam! Isn't it funny how when we pass a Home Goods store that it just draws our car into the parking lot despite our efforts to fight it? :-) Good call on the placemats! When life serves you lemons....!!! :-) It's always so great to be able to pull a table together by just shopping the house. Using the books as a riser is a wonderful idea!

  20. For starters, you can't go wrong with any table set in that beautiful dining niche. The natural light must always become an integral part of your design. I really like the khaki bouts placemats, and the placement is a great design choice. You've created a lovely Valentines tablescape. Thank you for inviting us for a peak. Cherry Kay

  21. The table is so lovely and for Valentine's Day will be a treat. First, I love your red goblets and the new napkins are perfect for many occasions and holidays. I shop at HomeGoods for they have great buys and wonderful pieces. The way you used the khaki and white is perfect and I will be using that idea. From one Pam to another Happy Tablescaping! Pam
