Fall In The Foyer... and a little extra

How are you friends?

Hope you are doing well and enjoying Fall wherever you are.
Last week I told you about the first room I decorate for any season. The little dresser in our Foyer is also a space I always decorate seasonally, even if I don't get any other space decorated in the house.

The little dresser in our Foyer is one of the first spaces you see coming into our house. It's right on the other side of the front door.

I like to write something on the Framed Chalkboard (that used to be a mirror).

I moved the mums that were in the Breakfast Room to the Foyer and traded them for these beauties.

Some vintage books and a candlestick always look good.

Galatians 6:9 has brought me through a lot of rough days. First, when our girls were babies and crying all day long and recently in my battle with lyme disease.

This gorgeous view is what we arrived to at the Mountain Cottage this weekend. I had Mr. DIY stop in front of our driveway so I could take a pic with my phone.

Here's how the view looked from our porch.

Back at home, we have a little color too.

Do you have a favorite quote or Bible verse that gets you through tough times?

  1. That's a nice greeting into your home. We all need things to remind us to keep motivated and to keep believing! That picture you took near the cabin is just beautiful! We're in full color here heading towards the end. Leaves are falling down everywhere. It's beautiful and a bit sad at he sad time. XX, Liz
