The Stockings Were Hung By The Chimney With Care...

Decorating your mantel for the Holidays really makes your home feel like Christmas.
Some years it's fun to use non traditional colors for decorating, but this year traditionl red and green just felt right.

A little gingham checked ribbon adds to the traditional feel.

I really wanted to purchase some cute  and colorful needlepoint stockings online, but I resisted.

I found these twine wrapped cones at Target for $3.00 each and painted them white.

Three cozy and soft throws were my splurge purchases. They always make sitting in our family room just a little bit cozier.
This white fluffy throw is embellished with silver snowflakes.

Now that the mantel is decorated, it's on to the Christmas tree.

Hope you're having a good day,

Pam
