Glitter Valentine Hearts

If you need a fun and simple craft for Valentine's Day, try these easy  Glitter Valentine Hearts. These cute little wood hearts can be used as ornaments or even as a gift tag.
All you need is a little bit of time and a few supplies.

What you'll need:

Some wood heart ornaments
Some sand paper if you want to sand the edges like I did.

Some Mod Podge and a foam brush

You also need some string.

and some glitter. (I used glass glitter, but don't use glass glitter with kids or around curious pets)

If you're not into glitter or it's too messy to work with kids, you can also use some fabric instead. I couldn't find the glitter I had ordered and happened to have these fabric scraps. Fortunately, I found the glitter!

Using the foam brush, I painted on a pretty good coat of Mod Podge and applied the glitter quickly before it dried.

 Super easy!

The  Glitter Valentine Hearts are pretty sparkly in person.

  1. I haven't heard of glass glitter before. Is it as horrible to work with as the other stuff? I hope you're feeling well.
