Happy Valentine's Day

Hope you have something nice planned for Valentine's Day and get to spend it with someone you love.

Mr. DIY brought me two bouquets of flowers yesterday. I can't get over how beautiful and red the roses are.

I set a simple table of white plates and red napkins and of course, my favorite red goblets. Nothing fancy or new.

If you remember, I made the Vintage Red Hearts from some leftover fabric that was from a dress that my grandmother sewed for me when I was ver young.

Mr. DIY always remembers to give flowers to his daughters on Valentine's Day. This bouquet is for our daughter Jenny.

Can't wait until tomorrow. Mr. DIY always cooks me a steak dinner. I prefer that to going out since I was a waitress many years ago and had to work on Valentine's Day and it was so busy. When our girls were little, I used to make a heart shaped meatloaf with red pasta sauce on top for all of us. I loved that too.

Whether you go out someplace fancy or have take out or cook at home, I hope you spend this Valentine's Day with someone you love.
