Is it going to grow immediately and you harvest it before winter?
Whe I saw your flowering plant I immediately thought of Monks Hood- the leaves look correct. The roots are poisonous- but only if ingested.Liz@ HomeandGardeningWithLizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08470612105590699955noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3977307823050840802.post-20973877800399932162012-10-26T00:45:34.484-04:002012-10-26T00:45:34.484-04:00Every time I read one of your gardening posts, I w...Every time I read one of your gardening posts, I want to go plant a garden!! And you are so lucky to have things growing this time of year!

The flower sort of looks like Lady Slippers. Not sure as I can't tell how tall it is. It has been getting cooler here in the upper Midwest but we had a little heat wave and it was 78 yesterday. It will be back in the 40's this weekend which is the norm.

Have a great day, Pam!

XO,
JaneBlondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3977307823050840802.post-89340979057720137642012-10-25T08:27:53.123-04:002012-10-25T08:27:53.123-04:00Oh yes, we have a bunch of garlic in the garden ri...Oh yes, we have a bunch of garlic in the garden right now and I love it.
