Spring Countdown

Spring is only 19 days away

Woo hoo!!!
You know I'm excited about Spring's arrival.
I count down the days on the framed chalkboard in our Foyer.

Couldn't resist buying this cute green bunny at HomeGoods this past week.

Been changing up the decor in the Family Room, as well. All the sunshine we've been having just brightens up the whole room.

Our oldest daughter's old room is so light and airy now that it's been painted Revere Pewter (Ben Moore).
I would love to redecorate our master in a similar fashion.

I bought two of these Safavieh chairs at HomeGoods awhile back and love them...the perfect shade of gray and cream.
They are comfy too.

I borrowed the sweet bunny from our youngest daughter's room. The tissue paper pom poms were saved from our oldest daughter's graduation party

Do you save stuff like that too?

Sammy came in to visit me and loves to have his picture taken. Maybe we should have named him Hammy. hehe.

So excited about Spring this year. I've been busy planting things outside already and can't wait for them to come up.

We'll also be getting back to the mountain cottage soon and hopefully finishing the upstairs bathroom.
I believe it qualifies to be on of THE smallest half bath on the planet,
but it will be good to have a bathroom upstairs.

Mr. DIY (yep I changed his name)and I have been working on a few other projects at the mountain cottage, as well.

Can't wait to show you.

What have you been working on?
Any Spring projects planned or in the works at your house?

  1. I change my husband's name too! I think I might steal your chalkboard countdown idea! I need to focus on spring coming soon as we're about to get hit with more major snow! Hopefully that will be it for winter! I have one of those grassy bunnies and I love putting them out for spring/Easter time. It would even go w/ my St. Patty's stuff! That Revere Pewter looks like a great color, we need to repaint our master so I'm going to check it out. I think I have the smallest half bath, I will have to measure it and we can compare!! Enjoy your weekend!

  2. Love the chalkboard, and the bedroom really is pretty. Can't wait to see all the progress on the cabin. Hugs, Marty

  3. Oooo, I love your milk glass! I have been looking for a couple of compotes or cake plates, but haven't gotten around here yet. It was 14 yesterday morning so it's hard to believe spring is coming! We were just talking about how we can't wait for the lettuce, lol.

  4. Hi Pam- your springtime touches look good and I really like the new bedroom color. The chair is perfect and I like that ruffled pillow. I always enjoy seeing your mountain cabin- can't wait to see updates!

  5. That is way too cute!.....counting down the days too...but it is not so bad since we have no snow...

  6. All your spring-y touches are so cute. I'm so envious of you having seeds out already--we got 5 more inches of snow tonight in Chicagoland. Can't wait to see your next mountain cottage update--you & Mr DIY are quite the dynamic pair! ;-)

  7. Pam, I love your chalkboard sign! And I have every toy and school paper my children have ever done! I just can't part with them!

  8. I've done nothing for spring because the way our weather has been I really don't believe it will ever get here! We're in the 40's today & yesterday it was 80......

  9. With 6ins of snow on the ground still, It could not get here fast enough! But this post definitely got me extra excited about its arrival!
