Hope everyone is having or had a great weekend. On Friday I got a jumpstart on a project that I've needed to do for some time now.
Several of the pillows on the family room sofa have had holes in them for a couple of months now & I have been checking HomeGoods for new pillows every single week, but to no avail. I have been wanting to get a new sofa or a new plain two piece slip cover that will fit my oversized sofa.
This week, one of the pillows corner completely ripped out & that was it! I had to do something....
Since the down pillow inserts were still good I figured I could make some covers instead of entire new pillows. So, I went upstairs and found this:
Wishing everyone a wonderful week!
Pam
How wonderful! I've been making new pillows for my sofa too! It's so nice to get exactly what you want by making your own, isn't it? Your new pillows are fabulous! I love that fabric and style!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pillows Pam!!~ You are so good.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I bought tons of home decore fabric when someone was closing their shop. I paid just $2 per yard and have yet to make anything-BAD ME! Pillows are just what I had in mind too.
ReplyDeleteLove your pillows. They are wonderful. I love the style with the buttons and the fabric is perfect. Hope you get your new sofa soon. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on the pillows. I love the buttons and the design you used.

Your pillows are beautiful, you did an amazing job on them.
ReplyDeleteI love my Ektorp and I think you will too.
Pam, I love that fabric and I like the way it has the envelope style and buttons. I still want to attempt making pillows when I find the time.
ReplyDeleteYour pillows are awesome! You are so talented. I'm looking at making a trip to Ikea as soon as my son starts school. I love that store!
ReplyDeleteLove your "new" pillows. I have a friend whose dog chews the corner of every pillow she buys so I have an endless supply of pillows to cover. Bad dog! Lucky me!
ReplyDeleteI'd love for you to visit my painting giveaway!
Wow, what a beautiful job, I like the detail you added with the buttons and fold over.
ReplyDeleteI love these pillows. And you can't beat $0! Hope you get your sofa soon. These would look fantabulous on it!! Thanks for stopping over on my blog from NFF and leaving a comment. You have a great blog... following now. Thanks, Rebecca
ReplyDeleteI just love the way these turned out! They're really beautiful, and something I think I can do too - which makes it even more inspiring! I can't believe that much of a transformation for zero bucks! :) Thanks for sharing, and as always inspiring!
