Christmas Copycat

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend! Mr. Fanatic and I had a big surprise waiting for us at our house when we arrived home late Friday afternoon. Our oldest daughter, whom you all know lives in California, surprised us again with a visit! This time she brought her boyfriend with her and it was very nice to finally meet him. They are flying back to California tomorrow.

Well, ya'll know it's time to PARTY! The Christmas Block Party is this week!  Debbie is starting off the holiday festivities with a Copycat Challenge

My copycat isn't based on a single inspiration, but on a conglomeration of several. I'm sure you've seen some really cute burlap stockings out there on Pinterest.

I here's what I came up with:

You can see a peek of the mantel, but you will have to wait until tomorrow for the 2nd link party. This is my first Christmas mantel in our family room and I can't wait to show it to you.

Thanks for stopping by!

  5. Well done! The one from Esty has good proportions, but is poorly executed. Corners not well turned and then the pressing job emphases it.
