I can’t tell you how happy I am with how the headboard project turned out.
I added another coat of white wash to the headboard since the last time you saw it because it looked a little too pink.
Not sure how a yellow tone wood and thinned out white paint makes pink, but it did.

This guest room was our youngest daughter’s room before she moved out. It was painted on the day we moved in because our daughter wanted to have the walls painted before our furniture arrived.
Thank goodness she chose a nice paint color!
I added the twig wreath I made after a big windstorm at our last house. That lovely curve at the top of the headboard was just calling for one.
The Vintage Lace Valentine Heart Pillow I made last week was the perfect addition to the bed.
I hope you like the Gustavian headboard as much as I do!

That is gorgeous! Are you taking reservations? :)
ReplyDeleteThanks! It was such an easy project, we're thinking about selling them locally.
DeleteThe headboard is beautiful .... and so is the bed itself...love the bedding and the details you added! Such a guest room that any guest would love to spend time in!
ReplyDeleteThanks Shirley! I fell in love with the blush comforter when I saw it on TJ Maxx online.
DeleteSuch a pretty room, Pam. The headboard is super, that curve really adds a nice feminine touch. I like the coral and gray color pops, too. Well done! :)

DeleteLove the look- the headboard is wonderful. I like the bedding and pillows. I like the Scandinavian style furniture- I should have gone that way somewhere in my home since I’m part Swedish. I see you other comment about the possibility of selling these locally- that’s awesome!
ReplyDeleteAny guest would enjoy staying here! I love the quilted bedding you have at the foot of the bed and matching pillow sham! So pretty!
