A New Rug for Our Spring Master Bedroom

Hello Friends!
Don't you just love it when everything comes together when you aren't expecting it to?
Well, that's how our Spring Master Bedroom has been . I've been eyeing some beautiful master bedrooms on Pinterest that have a rug on top of carpet and I thought I'd like to have one.
But, rugs can be so expensive.

Y'all know how much I love to find things on Amazon.
It's been a life saver to me, especially when I can't drive for long periods of time. (that's another story)
When I searched for rugs, one popped up that I really liked, was actually the perfect size for our bedroom and was very inexpensive!
The rug also had great reviews.

Enough of the rug story for now...
It’s been awhile since you’ve seen it – If you were here a couple of months ago, our bedroom was decorated for Christmas. After the Holidays, I put all the Christmas decorations and pillows and our room looked pretty bare for a couple of months.

A few days ago, I brought out some bright Spring pillows and a lighter weight throw and freshened things up a bit. The flowers from Easter are still looking great, so I set them on a tray on the bed to brighten things up.

If you follow me on Instagram, I shared that the artwork was originally purchased for our Mountain Cottage. It was in our foyer for a couple of weeks, but it’s found it’s way to our Master Bedroom and I love it here on my nightstand.

I think it’s going to travel around the house and maybe it will one day find it’s way to the Mountain Cottage.

For now, the artwork is going to stay on my nightstand. Spring Master bedroom, cottage, cottage style, farmhouse, farmhouse style, white master bedroom , diyDesignFanatic.com

So, about the new rug...

As I said, I found the rug on Amazon and it was a GREAT buy!

It is super soft on the feet and the pile is a good thickness and of course, the pattern is perfect for our Master Bedroom.

I think it would look great in a Family Room too. The link to where you can buy it is at the end of this post.

I previously had a throw rug on the side of the bed, but decided to replace it with one large rug.

Mr. DIY and our daughter had a tough time getting the new rug  centered under the bed, but they did it perfectly.
The rug is available in several different colors and sizes. Ours is silver and the size is 8 x 11. Spring Master bedroom, cottage, cottage style, farmhouse, farmhouse style, white master bedroom , diyDesignFanatic.com

Can you tell I'm excited about this rug?

And of course, our Spring Master Bedroom.

Do you like large rugs on top of carpet under your bed?
Or do you prefer small throw rugs on either side of the bed?
Or no throw rugs at all?

  1. Your rug, and room, are gorgeous! I have something similar with those pretty muted colors. I think you positioned it just right. Our bed (queen size) comes out at an angle fro a corner, and the 5 x 7 is positioned rectangular at the end, about 3/4 up. Does that make sense??

    Have a great Sunday!

  3. I can see that you've changed the room design again :) It looks fab. I must admit I prefer the light colored walls to the brown ones. Great job and I love the rug!
