Last weekend we were up at our mountain cottage.
Our little mountain cottage came through Hurricane Florence beautifully and there was no signs of a big storm, not even windblown branches on the ground.
We were definitely happy about that.
The weather may still be warm, but there are little signs that a change of seasons is on it’s way. Some leaves are already losing their green and the burning bush shrubs have almost turned transformed into their brilliant color.
As for accessories….let’s start in the kitchen.
Our youngest daughter found these cute Rae Dunn Purr and Meow mugs awhile back. I finally realized they’d be perfect for the mountain cottage.
I found this Farmhouse style Grocery sign on TJ Maxx’s website. It’s perfect in the space above the Vintage Style Pantry.
I found this custom made sign on Amazon for above the closet in the attic bedroom. She has some a few other signs I have my eye on.
The last accessory I have to show you is the gothic style “window” I found on Hobby Lobby’s website. It looks great on the left side of the window in the upstairs attic bedroom .
Mr. DIY hung all the accessories, in addition to finishing the stairs to the view porch, mowing the expansive lawn and straightening up the crawl space.
I look forward to our next visit as the weather will be cool and crisp and it will definitely feel like Fall.
