It has taken me a day to recuperate with all the running around we did on Prom day which was Friday! Hair & nail appointments, picking up flowers, photos at the park with two separate groups, etc. made for a long day! Then of course we waited up until they arrived home safely and to hear how Prom was! I didn't get to sleep until about 4 am! Next year will be easier with just one daughter going to Prom. Don't they all look beautiful & handsome? They all had a great time!

What gorgeous kids! All of them!
ReplyDeleteI remember those days well. My son and daughter went to all of their proms and formals and then some. We figured out that my daughter went to 9 during her high school years. All of the fuss and activity, FUN FUN FUN!
Going to the park for pictures was a great idea! The kids, parents, grandparents, siblings, friends, etc. used to meet at our house beforehand for pictures. We used to get teased that our fireplace was the most frequently photographed fireplace in our city! Thank you for bringing back such happy memories!
Pam, I remember those days, but thank goodness I only have one daughter. I remember the expense of everything. My daughter did look great though. Your daughters are so pretty and look fantastic in those gorgeous dresses. I could not imagine having two of them go through that at the same time.
ReplyDeleteBoth at the same time WOW, that was very expensive and busy! Your daughters both look so beautiful, so different too, they really do not resemble each other. I am sure they had a blast!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! Hope you get some rest now that it is all over!
ReplyDeleteYes, they all look very lovely in their finery!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty collage--the colors are so striking!
ReplyDeleteThey look do beautiful, the long day was worth it. The memories will be forever.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely mosaic, all the kids looked so gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mosaic! They are a gorgeous group!
ReplyDeleteThe lovely mixture of colorful dresses is strikingly beautiful! As long as they had fun and are safe, that is all that really matters! Hugs to you! Anne

Beautiful kids and what wonderful memories for all.
ReplyDeleteExpensive weekend I am sure, but so worth it! What wonderful memories. Glad they had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely dresses!
ReplyDeleteMy oldest chose not to go to the prom last year. And that was okay. He wasn't dating anyone at the time, and did go to the after prom party with a bunch of friends. Saved us a bundle for sure. Although I am sure girls are more expensive when it comes to that!
A great subject for your collage! Thanks for sharing.
Absolutely lovely! Come visit, I'm having a give-away!
ReplyDeleteLove the color-coordinated ties and prom dresses. Great photos. Great backdrop for the pictures too. Really beautiful.

look at the dresses! How much fun! I miss getting all dolled up but my girls will be there soon enough :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos! They all look fantastic. Glad they had a fantastic time. Brings back memories of my oldest son's prom. He is now married to the girl he took to the prom and they are expecting their first baby! Amazing how fast time flies. BUT I still remember how hectic the days were leading up to the prom and the day of the prom.

Beautiful! Time goes by so quickly. I remember when my daughters were going to Prom.
ReplyDeleteHave fun and enjoy!
Everyone looks great. So nice to see the girls looking beautiful and stylish. Glad they had a lovely time.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes,
Natasha.
We are relieved to have this behind us, as well. Although it was fun, I found it kind of stressful waiting for the kids to get home safely.
ReplyDeleteWe have two boys who are graduating this year so they definitely wanted to do these fun activities.
Your daughters are lovely.

Great photos of a special event. The colors of their dresses and being outside really makes for an outstanding show.
ReplyDeleteLovely boys and girls in fancy clothes! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos. Your girls are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey look like colorful flowers in a garden. don't you wish that every year was declared 'prom' night where all the women get dressed up in their prettiest dresses. Scarlett O'Hara and the southern Belles had the right idea.
ReplyDeleteHappy outdoor Wednesday,
Joanny
Such beautiful images. I love your blog and would love to see you at My Dream Canvas.
