While gathering accessories to fill my daughter's bookcases, I came across her little dress form that she used to keep necklaces on. The dress form never seemed quite right for her room. When it was purchased, the body was the color of a brown paper bag. A few months ago, my daughter painted it green to match the green in her room. It still didn't seem right to me.
There was some paint left over after painting the backs of the Bookcases, so I painted the body aqua and painted the finial and stand white. It still didn't look right. Burlap to the rescue!
I covered the body with a light burlap I had in my stash of stuff and then added on of my daughter's pretty necklaces.
Perfect!
Now, if I can only come up with something fabulous to hold her other 50 necklaces!

Love it Pam!! How about one of those decorative metal hooks for the walls that have 4 or 5 hooks in a row, and you could paint and distress it white. Martina
