Our Breakfast Room has come a long way. After several delays, the walls are FINALLY painted! The new color looks so great!
Before I show you the whole room, let's look back at the changes...
Here's what our home looked like last year...
Then I found a great round pedestal table on Craigslist...
Then I started lightening things up by painting the wall art and adding drama with white flowing curtain panels...
Painting the ceiling took far too long due to unforeseen circumstances and then yesterday we were cutting in! At this point, I was really excited!
Drumroll, please!...
The painted accessories look so much better on the neutral gray paint.
I still have some trim work to do and some touch ups which I hope to finish up in the next week or so.
I have THE BEST husband...after painting most of the day and spending two hours mowing and blowing the grass, he just brought me up dinner~ mashed potatoes and marinated pork loin.
Since we finished up our painting just a little bit ago, I'm frantically trying to write this blog post for some link parties this evening.

Oh, and since my laptop is still not working after getting a worm, I'm using a dinosaur of a desktop which doesn't have any of my stuff on it!
It's all good, though because our Kitchen and Breakfast Room are painted!!! I will show you the kitchen sometime this week!
Hope you all have a fantastic Labor Day!
Pam
By the way, the paint color is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter. It was one of 5 paint samples I was looking at, but seeing Kim's (Savvy Southern Style) guest room sealed the deal!
The curtains are Vivan from Ikea.
