With cooler temperatures and Fall only a few days away, it just seems natural to warm things up around the house.
I brought up a box from the basement with a few fall things and started in the foyer.
Here's what the chest in the foyer looked like before...
...and here's what it looks like now:
I also added some faux Fall foliage to the table in the family room...
and to the fireplace mantel.
Have you brought out any fall decor at your house yet or are you waiting a few more weeks?
Pam
I haven't started decorating for Fall yet, because I usually start in October. I've been enjoying seeing everyone elses Fall decor though. Yours looks really good.
ReplyDeleteI did pull out my warm weather pillows and throws last weekend. Now I'm getting the urge to make new pillows for a couple of chairs.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Pam, perfect Autumn touches. Today is a perfect nesting day to decorate indoors.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Pam! I love all the darker colors and your picture in the background is wonderful. I have to tell you though I about flipped when I saw those green books. Are they hymnals? I have some just like them I was playing with on the mantle when I did that display but ended up not using them. Mine are green too. Well, whatever they are they look fantastic with your vignette!
ReplyDeleteYour Fall touches are just lovely Pam! I'm pretty much all done decorating and love having the warm tones around the house. Although, it is still hard to believe that Summer is over and Fall is here again! :-)

Your fall touches look so pretty Pam! I love that sunflower picture in your hallway. Haven't started any fall decorating here, been to busy trying to get our downstairs all fixed up. Martina
ReplyDeleteIt looks fabulous and I love the horse. I do have white pumpkins out on the dining table but have not posted any fall decor yet.
ReplyDeleteIt's looking like Fall around your place!
ReplyDeleteLove the accents you've added.
I did all mine last week. It's nice to have over 2 mos. before we change things for Christmas!
Beautiful Fall touches, Pam.
ReplyDeleteI am not doing a lot of Fallishness this year. In fact, I sent a large bag of Fall goodies home with my daughter, over the weekend.:-)
I brought out a little bit before leaving for vacation. I couldn't help myself..I love fall! And the fall candles are just to die for...my favorite is Autumn Wreath by Yankee Candle. So wonderful!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely fall decor. Love the horse.
ReplyDeleteThis looks fantastic -- I love it!
