Pottery Barn Inspiration

Cooler temps and a visit to Pottery Barn Charleston is inspiring me to start decorating for fall. Their vignettes and displays are so gorgeous and filled with  wonderful ideas.

While I didn't care for the thickly stacked place setting, the printed napkin, woven napkin ring and name tag was perfect for fall.

This table is a little more difficult to see, but the tall candle holders woven with fall leaves were really pretty. I loved the faux gourds, as well, but would rather use real ones since they can be found everywhere in grocery stores right now.

I LOVE this pillow....

My daughter loved the lit up owls.

Burlap lamp shades were everywhere.

The two little ottomans are great for extra seating.

This was my favorite display...I loved the white sofa with the blue, gold and rust pillows. I think the big rattan tray would look fabulous on a large tufted square ottoman.
Now that the weather has cooled off it definitely puts me in the mood to get out the fall decor.
Where have you found some inspiration for your fall decorating this year?
Would love to know.

  2. Hi Pam,
Sadly, we don't have a Pottery Barn in Alberta. Most of my autumn inspiration ideas come from other blogs like yours.
I love the look of fall colours mixed with crisp, bright white. The contrast is so appealing to me.
    Have a lovely Monday, Pam!

  4. Hi Pam- Great inspiration photos! I bounce around, I have gotten my decorating inspiration from several web sites. Pottery Barn is a favorite though for accessories! I've been itching to own one of those giant glass hurricanes of theirs. I love their displays too!

  5. Thanks so much Pam! I enjoyed seeing the inspiration.

I love going through the PB catalogs. Would be fun to visit a store. Might have to do that. I believe there is at least one in STL. Sounds like a day trip.:-)

  6. Blogland has been my inspiration this year! The hubs has been out of town for almost three weeks so I have been home cleaning out everything and not getting out much! I love that PB store. I don't know why I think theirs is better, but I love it!

  7. I love the lanterns & the owls!! I think I may have to pick up an owl & see if it will keep the birds off my ceiling fans outside. I've heard that it works. If not at least I have something cute. I've done zero fall decorating. It's still warm here but we do have a cool front comint this week so maybe over the weekend.

  8. I always love stopping into to PB to take a peek at their latest vignettes. With so much merchandise at their disposal it's easy to create layered looks. I've been known to borrow styling ideas from the styling I see at PB and many of my other favorite home stores.

  11. So beautiful! I didn't know there was a Pottery Barn in Charleston. Where is it? I have been wanting to go to the Pottery Barn outlet in Gaffney, SC for ever! I just haven't made the trip, but I will eventually!!! Have you ever been to that one? I would think it's fairly close to you.
