The weather turned a little chilly this weekend. How about where you are???
We were in Charleston for a few days and the overcast weather felt good for a change. We much preferred to put on a light jacket as we were walking around shopping than to be sweating all day long. Will have to share out travels with you later on in the week, but first I wanted to share our newly painted kitchen.

Our garden is still producing tomatoes and lots of sweet peppers. Our two pepper plants probably have two dozen or more peppers on them.
Before I show you how our kitchen looks now, let's remember how it looked with yellow faux finished walls...
Very colorful, for sure, but definitely in need of a change..
Here's how the kitchen looks now...
My youngest daughter has started drinking coffee, so I set up a little coffee station in the corner of the kitchen.
Here's Mister Fanatic's "baking station"....lol... Remember that wonderful artisan bread he loves to bake??? Well, there's been none of that for awhile because both of us are on a low carb diet. (I've lost 18 pounds so far) : ) That should make for a good Metamorphosis Monday post, don't ya think?
Now that the paint is a neutral color, I will have to find some colorful accessories for the kitchen to liven things up.
Hope you had a great weekend!
Pam
ps: the paint color in the Kitchen and Breakfast Room is Benjamin Moore Revere Pewter
It all looks so nice Pam! I love the new color! And congratulations on your weight loss!

Love the new color. So pretty and definitely showcases the cabinets, granite and tile. Love it all. Great coffee station. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteThe new paint colour is a nice compliment to your cabinets and flooring. It will be interesting to see what you choose as an accent colour for the room. The baking station for your hubby and coffee station for your daughter are such sweet and thoughtful touches!
