Y'all know I don't like to cook and don't have the creative cooking gene or even an inclination to buy a cookbook. Even so, I still love pinning yummy food I find on Pinterest.
I am constantly pinning things I would love for Mr. Fanatic to make (he used to be a chef) and I find these wonderful recipes for yummy things and send them to him via Facebook.
Mr. F isn't at all like me in regards to cooking; he loves trying new things.
I sent him a link for these awesome no knead roll I found on I Lived On Wisteria Lane
Look at how perfect they came out...they were soooo good. I think these are my favorite.
Mr. F says the no knead Artisan Bread is still his favorite. If you missed the post, you can find it HERE.
As if making bread isn't enough, Mr. F made these awesome cream puffs awhile back for our youngest daughter. I think he used a recipe from the Joy of Cooking and improvised with the filling. Mmm, makes me hungry just looking at them.
How's a girl supposed to keep off the 25 pounds she lost last year?
That's all for now...If you would like to follow me on Pinterest you can find me HERE.
Hope you have a great weekend!
Pam
All that looks so good especially since I am trying to drop weight like you did.
ReplyDeleteOh my, I love rolls and about a pound of butter. When I finally lose this weight I will have some as a treat. These look fabulous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteWow, looks super delicious. The link to the artisan bread is not working.
ReplyDeleteIt all looks SO good, Pam! I love cream puffs! You are so lucky to have a husband who knows how to cook and bake. Although I love to, it would be a nice break if my hubs could do something around the kitchen besides eat!
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
YUM!!!! Thank goodness my hubs only likes to cook & not bake. If he was making bread & desserts there's no way I would've lost any weight.
ReplyDeleteMy daughter was just asking me about homemade bread and I was telling her about kneading. She wants a whole wheat recipe...we shall be kneading. The rolls look yummy.
ReplyDeleteI could eat my way through the whole pan plus the cream puffs! Yummy!!!
ReplyDeleteYum! I'm a bread fanatic. Those cream puffs are awesome! We used to get them with ice cream in the center and hot gorge or caramel drizzled all over- they called them Cream Pufff Sundaes.... Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteLooks delish, Pam. I don't bake. I think I am too heavy handed.:-)
ReplyDeleteNow I know why you call him Mr Fantastic! A cream puff baking man - a rare specimen indeed!
ReplyDeleteThanks for featuring my no knead buns, I'm glad you like them. From I Lived On Wisteria Lane
ReplyDeleteMr Fantastic is a keeper! I will definitely be trying the no knead artisan bread! It looks scrumptious!
