Tea For Two

 Hey Y'all!
Don't know why that came out...maybe Paula Deen was in my mind. LOL!
How have you been?

I'm starting to get my energy back and thought now would be a good time to start posting again. I've also finished the project we've been working on and will be showing it to you on Monday. There's also going to be an announcement for a great giveaway, so be sure to come back!

Now for today's post...
Thursday is usually the day for tablescapes and I know it's Friday, but for some reason I've been thinking about the lovely times some friends and I had tea at one of those tea rooms filled with lace and doilies and big brimmed hats.

Usually I drink my tea out of the biggest mug I can find instead of one of these...
Really.... this cup holds two gulps sips.

When I put this photo up I realized it was a little bland...but I fixed it at the end...

The vintage Fostoria cream and sugar set was my grandmother's.

When I was adding photos to my Picasa album I realized what the table was missing...Hello? Napkins???

There, much better.  Everyone needs a napkin when you have tea and those cute little sandwiches. After all, you can't use your sleeve when you're wearing a big hat and  a pretty dress.

Hope you all have a great weekend and be sure to come back Monday!

  3. Wow Pam, what a lovely table, and I LOVE your Fostoria!! What a pretty china pattern too. I have missed so many pretty things. but I'm hoping to get back to it! You are right about the area here. It is ridiculous. How wonderful if you were closer, though!!! We still need to build the chickens a coop, but they should be laying by fall. I just got my veggies planted last week, and with all the rain, everything is up. We just cannot stay ahead here though. I feel like we are living in a jungle that is closing in on me sometimes, lol!!
