The weather at the mountain cottage last weekend was so enjoyable and just perfect for sitting on the porch and watching the clouds go by.
A few weeks ago, I revealed our new view porch deck and rails. It certainly has come a long way and Mr. DIY did a FABULOUS job. I'll post a link at the end of the post if you missed it.
We brought up the rug, a few pillows, the metal star, and I found a new lantern for the porch.
That dark ceiling is soon to be a thing of the past. Once that's painted, Mr. DIY will install a ceiling fan and hang some string lights.
Can't wait!
Our porch with the mountain view is a lovely and comfy place to sit now.

DeleteWow it looks fabulous! The furniture fits there perfectly and the rug looks great. The ceiling will great painted a lighter shade and the ceiling fan will be great! Love the new lantern and your view!
