New Lamps for the Attic Bedroom at the Mountain Cottage

I really love our new lamps in our attic bedroom at our mountain cottage.

But, lets back up a bit...

Before Mr. DIY built the paneled wall behind the bed, the angled ceiling was really low, so we had to get lamps that were short and we ended up with some chrome pharmacy lamps. I wasn't really crazy about them, but they worked. 

After Mr. DIY built out the wall, so we wouldn't hit our head when we sat up in bed, I thought we'd get some lamps that looked nicer. I forgot about finding new lamps, though because of the long project list and because I couldn't find two that I liked. It was actually Mr. DIY who nudged me again to start looking because HE didn't like the pharmacy lamps.

I started looking online because that was easy and of course, TJ Maxx online is my favorite online shop, and that's where I found them. 

So much better, don't you think?

Mr. DIY has been busy with the new bathroom and I can't wait to show you the progress he's made.

It will be nice to have an en suite bathroom downstairs and it's going to be great!

We'll be taking another week at the mountain cottage soon to finish up the electrical and plumbing and to get those inspections done. After that, the fun stuff begins - the finishes!
