A Little Change

You all remember my master closet don't you?

...And my collection of perfume bottles in front of the mirror where I decide what earrings to wear? Well even though I love gold I always felt like there was just a little too much  gold. So, today I painted the mirror.

Here's how it turned out. I think it's a little too white, though ..., my next mini project is going to be adding a little dark walnut stain to it.
Hopefully, I can do this tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a terrific weekend!

  1. Hey neighbor! What a coincidence! I did a mirror too and painted it white. You can never go wrong with white paint. Looks great already! I use Minwax Dark Walnut on some of my refinishing projects but never tried it on top of paint. Look forward to seeing your antiqued finish.

  2. Awesome project Pam...I love that mirror.

  3. I would love to have some builtins in my closet and one big enough to really get dressed in. Your mirror looks wonderful painted white, but a little stain will look fab too. Hugs, Marty

  4. Hi Pam, Beautiful mirror...can't wait to see how it looks when you antique it a bit. I know it will be fabulous! I have something I'm eyeing right now...thinking about painting it. It's metal though, so I'm kind of chicken to do it. LOL I'll have to sit on it a while. Love your closet...built-ins are sooo great in a closet!
    Happy MM!

  5. Looks great! That is a beautiful mirror, and I bet the walnut stain will really look great! Thanks for sopping by my anniversary! I'm just now getting around to visit because it's been crazy here.

  6. (I can't see the mirror pics) but I can imagine it. I wish my closet looked like that! So jealous!

Thanks for sharing in the DIY Project Parade!

    Have a great week!

  7. Yep...looks much cleaner white. I think adding a bit of dark stain will be loverly!

    Glad you could Mi4M :)
