A Little Change

You all remember my master closet don't you?

...And my collection of perfume bottles in front of the mirror where I decide what earrings to wear? Well even though I love gold I always felt like there was just a little too much  gold. So, today I painted the mirror.

Here's how it turned out. I think it's a little too white, though ...

...so, my next mini project is going to be adding a little dark walnut stain to it.
Hopefully, I can do this tomorrow.
Hope everyone had a terrific weekend!

  1. Hey neighbor! What a coincidence! I did a mirror too and painted it white. You can never go wrong with white paint. Looks great already! I use Minwax Dark Walnut on some of my refinishing projects but never tried it on top of paint. Look forward to seeing your antiqued finish.

  3. I would love to have some builtins in my closet and one big enough to really get dressed in. Your mirror looks wonderful painted white, but a little stain will look fab too. Hugs, Marty

  4. Hi Pam, Beautiful mirror...can't wait to see how it looks when you antique it a bit. I know it will be fabulous! I have something I'm eyeing right now...thinking about painting it. It's metal though, so I'm kind of chicken to do it. LOL I'll have to sit on it a while. Love your closet...built-ins are sooo great in a closet!
    Happy MM!
