We have kept the table set ever since I set it when we showed our house awhile back. This week I changed it to more of a fall setting, although these colors could be used for Christmas, as well.
Once again, I am using my only set of every day plates ... Mikasa Italian Countryside. I hope Debbie over at Debbiedoos Loves Livin In The Carolinas doesn't hate me, but I went right over to Walmart and purchased the fall chargers. You can see them better in Debbie's photo here. Remember...copying is the sincerest form of flattery!
I've had the red glasses for a long time - I can't remember where I bought them
Here's the lovely metal birdcage, green birdie and faux berries I purchased up in Blowing Rock last Sunday.
Thanks for stopping by,
Pam
You know stealing - I mean copying - is the sincerest form of flattery. I have a metal bird cage in my attic and I just might have to grab it for my next fall tablescape. Great Idea! The salt and peppers are adorable.
ReplyDeleteThe centerpiece is my favorite part. I love the simplicity of it! I'm also crazy about birds so that is a plus...
ReplyDeleteI saw those great looking chargers at Walmart and wanted some too. I resisted... ON THAT TRIP anyway. They look great on your table, and I love your colors.
What a lovely table! I really like your centerpiece and the crocheted piece your grandmother made!
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Great table! Love the runner! It's only smart to add only one or two things for a table now and then. Keeps you creative!
ReplyDeleteThese reds and greens are gorgeous and brought together by the napkin so well. I love the two together. Makes a very fun table.
ReplyDeleteI really like using red for Fall decorating since you just switch out a few things and ... yep! There's Christmas!
ReplyDeleteLove your table decor.

Copying is flattery, I do it often too! This is so pretty Pam! I love every choice here and how well everything sit's together (space wise) on your table. Not too much and not too little. It's just perfect! Your Mikasa is beautiful and I think I told you before that I really love those votives with the burlap! Beautiful tablescape!
ReplyDeletei like how you used a mix of old and new...your grandmother would love to see her handiwork on your table!
ReplyDeleteI like it!! So many things you can do with the bird cage to change it up. Great ideas!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I really like the colors.
ReplyDeleteI love your birdcage! It's a great piece to have and ...I would love to have it;) The colors on your table are so nice and I think it's wonderful that you have the family heirloom. I saw those chargers yesterday. I thought I wanted them, but now I know I do! Thanks for sharing.

Very pretty table. Love the bird cage centerpiece. Those great napkins could go with so many different tables.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Pam...and yes you can keep that up for sometime, so you do not have to keep changing it. That looks really nice when showing a home. Looks like a model home.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful that you've used your grandmother's beautiful crocheted runner. Love the way that red stemware pops on this table, and that bird cage centerpiece is sooo pretty. laurie
ReplyDeleteYour table looks wonderful. I bought those chargers last year and just love them.
ReplyDeleteI love that you honor your grandmother by integrating her precious family treasures in your wonderful tablescape. The chargers are fantastic...I may go buy some, too. Thank you for sharing your charming design with us. Cherry Kay
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty table! I love that you have included some heirloom treasures. That bird cage is so pretty. I am afraid I may have to go look for those chargers too.
ReplyDeleteLovely table and I just saw those chargers at Walmart today. I need to scoot back over there and pick them up before they are all gone, lol.
