Don't you love it when you do a little project and it turns out so well?
Remember the dresser we found on Craigslist for my youngest daughter's room? I'm not sure if you can tell from this cropped and enlarged grainy photo, but the pulls were gold and desperately needed painting.
Well, I finally got around to painting them with Rustoleum's Silver Metallic paint and they came out great!
I hope you can tell how much lighter and brighter the newly painted hardware makes the dresser feel ~ even in a photo taken on a dreary day!
I'm going to have to find something else to paint with the silver metallic because it's so pretty!
Hope you have something fun planned for this weekend!
Pam
The silver looks so fresh and clean, great improvement!
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful Pam!
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome Pam! Everything you do just turns out great...unless you are not sharing the clunkers:) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteYou're right, I just love it when a plan comes together.
ReplyDeleteThey do brighten it up! Looks great and cheaper than new pulls.
Very nice! Is it a spray paint you used or did you brush it on? I haven't had any luck with any of the metallic sprays I've purchased.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I love the shutters behind the dresser!

It's so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI have my 2nd yogalates class this afternoon but other than that no plans. The weather is AWFUL & I just want to curl up with a book! Have a great weekend.
Pam, that looks great and I love the whole vignette on top. Just perfect with the shutters propped there. I noticed the price tag on the bottom of the clock. lol
ReplyDeleteHi Pam! Those are some gorgeous drawer pulls! The design of them just begged for that silver metallic and it looks awesome. Great job!

Love the dresser, and the hardware turned out great. Love it. I've seen that silver metallic used to make faux silver vases. They look fabulous. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI LOVE those drawer pulls- they are such a beautiful shape. And I'm always going to pick silver over gold- my husband is so lucky- ha! :)
ReplyDeleteThe dresser looks great! It's amazing what a little paint can do.
ReplyDeleteWow! What a difference that made. Watch out with that paint. Don't paint any cars. LOL. I know what you mean about having something turn out so well. You want to try it on everything. This looks great. Thanks for your visit and kind comments. Hugs, Ginger
ReplyDeleteThat looks great! I also love the shutters.
