Valentine Tablescape

Now that the Dining Room is back in order, it was the perfect place for  our Valentine tablescape.

Every year I order See's chocolate hearts for everyone. This is the only time of year that they are available. I HIGHLY recommend them! You can order them online.

The table is set for four...hoping that all of us can have a nice dinner together either on Sunday or Monday.  This will probably be our last Valentine's Day all together as my oldest daughter is planning to move to Southern California soon.

I found the strawberry heart shaped marshmallows I first saw at Debbie's blog at Walmart. The apothecary jar was full to the top yesterday. My youngest daughter and husband tell me they are very tasty!

Here's what's on the table:
china: Gorham Breckinridge
chargers: Hobby Lobby
flatware: Wallace Continental Bead
champagne glasses: Waterford Maeve
red glasses: I can't remember!
sherbet bowls: from Ross
apothecary jar, cake stand: HomeGoods
tablecloth: Goodwill
crystal candlesticks: wedding gifts
champagne bucket and little butter servers: from my mom

Thanks for stopping by!

Pam

  4. We have always had our Valentine's Day dinner together with our girls until last year. Our youngest daughter had her boyfriend over and they had their own fireside table in the basement. My husband used to be a chef and always makes dinner for us...a better dinner than any restaurant for sure!

Your tablescape just inspired me to maybe have dinner that night with the kiddos in the dining room to make it extra special for them too. Nothing like mac-n-cheese on china to say 'I love you'! :-)
