Fall Mantel

I hope you are having a great week! How's the weather where you are? Has it cooled off yet? We're still having some pretty humid days here in the South and haven't been able to wear long sleeves yet. But, this weekend it supposed to get cooler. I am hoping to have a fire out on our patio in the woods. Definitely one of the joys of Fall

This is my first Fall mantel in our Family Room since moving the tv out of the niche.
I love the warm glow of my simple burlap wrapped votives.

I kept the iron artwork against the burlap as the backdrop. The pumpkins are on cake stands so that they can be seen above the floral garland.

Everything on the mantel and in the niche is something I already had.

Hope the rest of the week is really good for you and that you are working on something fun!

Thanks for stopping by,

Pam

  5. Still in the 90's here. The weather people claim it'll be in the low 80's for the weekend. I'll believe it when I see it! I love how you have the pumpkins on the cake plates.

  7. That is beautiful Pam! Love the burlap wrapped votives! (I have wheat like that but cannot find it....think it ended up in the church attic after I used some for the missions banquet at church last year.) You always do such a nice job!

  12. I love what you did wit the space behind the mantle! My mother is struggling with how to decorate hers because it can be a bit of an awkward space. I will definitely send her a link to your photos so she can get some ideas! Great job!

  17. Or weather here in central Missouri has been somewhat cooler 60's & 70's. I'm really enjoying it. I love your mantle. Can't believe this is your first. I think I like yours more than all the ones I have seen so far. I like the natural look and the twig pumpkins beautiful.

  20. Pam, love, love what you did with the mantel!! I saw the post below about putting the TV away, and I love it like this. What a great space to decorate too!! We are supposed to get to 31 this weekend!! I am so happy about that. I just love the weather we are having here now, but I"m sure when the snow starts falling and all our yard work is destroyed, I'll feel differently! Thanks for stopping by!!

  21. Pam, I love the mantel. It looks amazing. I think doing a corner fireplace with an inset is always so hard to decorate and you have done such an amazing job. Stunning. Hugs, Marty
