Wedding Inspired Tablescape

The hydrangeas  Mr. DIY gave me for Mother's Day have big beautiful blooms on them that are fading, but
I thought they were so pretty and wanted to bring them inside.
Some pretty white chrysanthemums were calling my name at Trader Joe's and thought they'd be perfect with the hydrangeas, so I brought a $3.99 bunch home and put them together in a large white pitcher.

As I set them on the table, I thought they would look  pretty as a wedding centerpiece.
Maybe I have weddings on my mind because my brother is getting married (for the first time) in a couple of weeks.
So, I decided to set the table in our breakfast room inspired my brother's upcoming wedding.

I used plain white china dishes placed on silver colored chargers accented with green salad plates . The crystal is our wedding set by Waterford and the pattern is Maeve.

These silver plated napkin rings were given to me by my mother in law. I love the one with her name engraved on it.
The napkins were found at HomeGoods.

I just love hydrangeas, don't you?

We are looking forward to our brother's wedding coming up soon and I can't wait to meet his bride.
This tablescape will definitely put me in the mood for the wedding.

Hope you have a great weekend!

  5. Pam: Are your own hydrangeas going to bloom? Mine didn't make it through the winter; well, one did, but the others all had the buds frozen and die before spring came. Lots of nice green leaves though!
Is the wedding here or in California? What fun! My brother, in his fifties, has never been married!
