Reminds me of Fall in Southern California.
Short sleeves for warm days and a light jacket for the cool nights.
The weather is just right...
Even though it's still warm, pumpkins and sunflowers still cheer me up and put me in the mood for Fall. And who couldn't use a little cheering up this week?
Our oldest daughter was in Las Vegas (a couple of blocks away from the concert) over the weekend. I woke up to 10 family texts that she was ok. Glad I hadn't seen the news first before hearing from her as I knew she was in Las Vegas and would had been out of my mind with worry.
We're definitely counting our blessings and praying for the victims.
Working on more Fall decorating is a welcome distraction. Ibrought the white pitcher of sunflowers over from the coffee table for the centerpiece.
We already had all the dishes, napkins, flatware, napkins, candleholders, glassware and placemats.
Hug your loved ones a little tighter this week
I know I will...
Thanks for stopping by...
Pam
I love it Pam! You and I did the same thing with a little pumpkin on the plate! Love the stripe pumpkin which is what I wanted but the place I was at only had a few and they were really large. Sunflowers are such a happy flower- can't help but smile when you see them!
ReplyDeleteSo glad to know your daughter wasn't at that particular spot in Las Vegas. You are the first person that I know of that had a friend or family member in Las Vegas during this terrible tragedy. Thank God she was never in harms way.
Your table is so festive and brightI I love the floral dishes. I can just imagine a nice family breakfast there. And I know how much family means to you. I would have been a wreck. Your daughter has a good head on her shoulders.
ReplyDeleteWe used to go to Vegas all the time. My husband entertained clients there. It was always so surreal with the lights and music and dancers and 24 hour life. For people to have a concert turn into a war zone sickens me. Thankfully we see so many heroic acts during times like these. For that I'm grateful.

Very pretty Pam! It looks like the perfect fall spot!
ReplyDeleteI’m shocked like everyone else. But also praising God for rescuers, all the folks who stepped up to help. Gail
